Have you ever thought to yourself, ‘I wish the bath tub was big enough to swim in’? In the bath at home you let yourself sink down into that piping hot water, feel it envelop, your chin drops below the water line but then you notice that your knees are poking up out of the water. Your legs cramp up a bit, like you got the cheap seats on a budget airline. You put your legs up on the edge of the bath. At least they’re straight now. But if the bath tub was big enough to swim in…
Madison Spa Resort, Moama has a bath tub big enough to swim in, only it’s a little bit posh so they call it a Roman Bath House.
Madison Spa Resort is in Moama, New South Wales, just over the Murray River from Echuca. The deluxe rooms feature a personal spa bath with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a bush setting. There does appear to be a bush walking path down in that bush setting though so don’t do anything too naughty in the spa, unless you’re into that kind of thing.
But back to the swimmable bathtub. The Roman Bath House has two pools; one is a heated relaxation pool, the other a spa pool. The pools are large enough to lay back and float around in. Although unlike your bath tub, you’ll have to share it with other guests.
